Men’s golf ties for seventh at Blue River Classic

As a team, the Tigers shot a 306 on the first day and a 298 on the second day to finish 32 strokes over par. The leader for DWU was Bennett Lundy (Aberdeen, S.D.) who tied for 18th with a two-day total of 149. Following Lundy was Cade Carpenter (Mitchell, S.D.) who tied for 25th place after carding a 77 on day one and a 74 on day two.
Justice Morrison (Norris, S.D.) and Devan Weelborg (Bryant, S.D.) both tied for 36th place with a 153 through two days. Tony Hayes (Sioux Falls, S.D.) rounded out the top five for the Tigers as he tied for 55th and a two-day total of 160.
DWU competes at the Northwestern and Dordt Invitational on Monday and Tuesday in Orange City, Iowa and Sioux Center, Iowa.
