LANGE WINS INDIVIDUAL TITLE AT BRONCO WOMENS OPEN
Hastings, Neb –
Jayden Lange grabbed the individual title at the Bronco Women's Open this afternoon. Lange won all three of her faceoffs, two by fall and won the 1st place match by decision. Isabelle Camarillo and Hallie Stone each finished in 6th in their respective weight classes as well.
Recap –
130 – Mady Sargent competed in two duals and was defeated by fall in each. Sargent made it to the third round of the consolation after receiving two byes as well.
136 – Jayden Lange received a bye in the first round of the bracket before she faced off against a Texas Women's University wrestler. Lange won by fall (3:19) in her first dual of the day. In the semifinal round Lange would pick up another victory by fall (2:23) over another wrestler from Texas Women's University. In the 1st place match, Lange faced her third wrestler from TWU and would defeat her by decision (14-6) to bring home the win.
136 – Isabelle Camarillo went 3-3, with all her victories coming via pins. Camarillo defeated opponents from Adams State, Morningside, and University of Sioux Falls. In the fifth-place match, Camarillo was pinned (0:37) by a Hastings wrestler.
143 – After dropping her found round bout, Hallie Stone would receive a bye then win four straight to get herself into the consolation semifinal. Stone would fall in that round and move to the 5th place match. Stone was unable to compete in the 5th place match.
155 – Olivia Smith secured 7th place after dropping her first match of the day. Smith won her match against an Ottawa University wrestler by decision (10-10) and then secured the 7th place spot with a fall victory (3:00).

The Tigers will travel to York Nebraska to compete in the York Open on January 12th.
