Women’s golf opens spring season at Concordia Bulldog Invite
LINCOLN, Neb.– After sitting tied for fifth following the opening day, the Dakota Wesleyan University women’s golf team took sixth with a two-day total of 682 in their first tournament of the spring season. They competed at the Concordia Bulldog Invite on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln, Neb.

They competed at the Concordia Bulldog Invite on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln, Neb.
Leading the way for the Tigers was Megan Hinker (Lennox, S.D.) as she placed 10th. In her opening round she was tied for fifth with a 77. However, she carded an 84 in the second day as she finished with a 161 in the tournament.
Only four strokes behind was Ashley Zimmer (Mitchell, S.D.) and she tied for 12th with a two-day total of 165. She made an impressive jump after being tied for 24th in the opening round with an 86, while improving with a 79 on the second day.
Sophomore Erin Moncur (Miller, S.D.) took 36th after recording an 88 and 89 in the two days, respectively. Ronae Klein (Winner, S.D.) finished tied for 42nd as she finished with a 179 through two rounds, while Jayden Bormann (Parkston, S.D.) rounded out the group as she tied for 48th.
The Tigers compete next at the Hardrocker Spring Invite on Monday and Tuesday at the Arrowhead Country Club in Rapid City, S.D.
