Tigers take fifth at Dordt Invite
SIOUX CENTER, Iowa– The Dakota Wesleyan University women’s golf team competed in its second tournament of the week as they took fifth out of eight teams with a 680 in the Dordt Invite on Thursday and Friday in Sioux Center, Iowa.

Leading the way for the Tigers at The Ridge Golf Course as junior Megan Hinker (Lennox, S.D.) as she finished in fifth place. After carding a 79 on the opening day, she bounced back and notched a 75 on the second day.
Tying for 23rd was Ashley Zimmer (Mitchell, S.D.) as she finished with a 173 through two days. Not far behind was Ronae Klein (Winner, S.D.) who tied for 25th, finishing just two strokes behind Zimmer.
Erin Moncur (Miller, S.D.) finished her opening round with an 86. However, she carded a 94 in her second round to tie for 36th. Rounding out the Tigers was Jayden Bormann (Parkston, S.D.) who tied for 38th.
The Tigers will conclude their spring season as the Great Plains Athletic Conference Spring Championships on Friday and Saturday from the Bent Tree Golf Course in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
