Hogg, Preston take fifth, Tigers finish third at Briar Cliff Invite
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Dakota Wesleyan University men’s golf team competed at the Briar Cliff University Spring Invite on Wednesday in their third meet in the month of April. The Tigers shot a total of 595 for the tournament, good for third place out of 12 teams and their third top-three finish of 2017.

Senior Tom Hogg (Aberdeen, S.D.) and freshman Connor Preston (Aberdeen, S.D.) led the way tied for fifth place with a score of 145.
Kimball, S.D., native, Russell Pick finished tied for 18th after shooting 150. Michael Whitney (Brandon, S.D.) shot 155, good for 25th and Elliott Banks (East Sussex, England) tied for 29th with a score of 156.
DWU is back in action on Monday in Northwestern College Match Play Invitational at Landsmeer Golf Club in Orange City, Iowa.
