MONCUR AND SUDENGA EARN FIRST TEAM ALL-GPAC
Mitchell, S.D. – Honors for the 2024 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men's Golf Season have been announced. The All-Conference Team for 2023-24 was voted on by the coaches at the conclusion of the season and considers the entire season of results. The top ten are considered first team, with the next five (including ties) being named second team. An honorable mention list was also created based on minimum votes from the coaches.
Dakota Wesleyan women's golf team had two members named to the All-GPAC list with both being First Team in graduate student Erin Moncur and freshman Sara Sudenga.
Erin Moncur – Graduate – Miller, S.D. – First Team – (3x ALL-GPAC)
Averaged 85.9 per round in her final season on the links with the Tigers. Earned All-Conference First Team Honors with her 9th place finish at the GPAC Championships. Recorded her best score of 77 at the GPAC Championships. Placed top five in three meets, with her best finish being 2nd place finish at the DWU Spring Invite.
Sara Sudenga – Freshman – Sioux Falls, S.D. – First Team – (1x ALL-GPAC)
In her first season of collegiate golf, Sudenga averaged a score of 85.9. Earned All-Conference First Team Honors with her 7th place finish at the GPAC Championships. Recorded her best score of 80 at the GPAC Championships.
