DWU women take sixth at BVU Invite
STORM LAKE, Iowa – The Dakota Wesleyan University women’s golf team was back on the greens over the week, bringing home a sixth-place finish at the BVU Invite at the Lake Creek Country Club in Storm Lake, Iowa.

As a team, the Tigers shot a team score of 713.
Freshman Skylar Brunk (Lee's Summit, Mo.) led the way after tying for eight place with a two-day total of 163. Nicole Nelson (Platte, S.D.) tied for 26th-place after carding a 177. Freshman Brooke Ehlers (Worthing, S.D.) carded a 184, good for a tie in 47th-place. Madison VanWalleghen (Letcher, S.D.) tied for 55th-place with a 189, while Kaleigh Erdahl (Plankinton, S.D.) took 69th and Emily Sharkey (Upton, Wyo.) finished in a tie for 70th.
Briar Cliff took first place as a team, carding a 646.
DWU competes in the Bellevue Invite next Monday and Tuesday at the Pines Golf Course in Valley, Neb.
