How It Happened
Game one
- Through the first two innings at the plate: the Tigers went three-up and three-down while keeping the Raiders to only one runner aboard.
- After a two-out double to left field and stranding Lena McCoy, the Tigers allowed two runs in the bottom of the third on three hits.
- McKinnely Mull got DWU started with one out in the top of the fourth inning with a walk as Nora Nelson followed, reaching base on an NWC error placing runners on first and second.
- After stranding two runners on base, the Raider bats heated up to score 13 runs on nine hits to close the books on game one.
- McCoy was 1-for-2 with a double; Meghan Daffern collected the loss tossing 3.1 innings, allowing seven hits and three earned runs.
Game Two
- DWU started game two with Alyssa Burke getting aboard on a bunt.
- Burke stole second for her 23rd stolen base of the season before being stranded on second.
- Northwestern came up with four runs on three hits in the bottom of the first inning to lead 4-0.
- After allowing one run in the bottom of the second inning, the Tigers kept the Raiders off the base path in the third, going three-up and three-down.
- DWU stranded Adriana Thomason on base after she reached first with a leadoff walk.
- In the bottom of the fourth, NWC put up another five runs on five hits to take game two 10-0 over the Tigers.
- Burke went 1-for-2 with a stolen base as Tava Boone tallied the loss pitching 3.2 innings and allowing nine hits and ten earned runs.

Dakota Wesleyan softball begins to close out their 2022 road schedule as they take their second to last road trip this weekend. The Tigers will take on the Warriors of Midland Saturday, April 9, in a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m. from Fremont, Neb.
