Connor Preston (Aberdeen, S.D.) led the DWU men, tying for eighth place with a two-day total of 148. Freshman Cade Carpenter (Mitchell, S.D.) shot a 158, followed by a 161 from Russell Pick (Kimball, S.D.). Also making their DWU debut, freshman Alec Johnson (Tyndall, S.D.) tied for 57th-place with a 163 and Justice Morrison (Norris, S.D.) carded a 164. Overall, the men shot a 628, just a shot shy of tying Midland University for 11th-place.
NCAA DI junior college Iowa Western took first with a team total of 586.
The Tigers are back in action on Thursday at the Dordt/Northwestern Invite at the Ridge and Landsmeer Golf Courses in Sioux Center and Orange City, Iowa.
