TIGER VOLLEYBALL FALLS SHORT IN FIVE-SET BOUT WITH SAINT MARY
Omaha, Neb. – No. 13 Dakota Wesleyan hits a season-low on the road against No. 10 College of Saint Mary Saturday evening. The Tigers hit .090 with 50 kills in the five-set match.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- DWU fell behind right away going down by two points before Abigail Brunsing tallied her first kill of the match and a 1-3 score CSM leading.
- The Tigers couldn't grab a lead in the first set as they hit in the negatives for the first time all season.
- Dakota Wesleyan turned it around in the second set, jumping ahead to a 4-1 lead that was short-lived as the Flames came back tying the set at 5-5.
- After DWU grabbed a four-point lead again, they maintained it for the set two win, 25-20.
- The third set ran similar to the previous one, as the Tigers quickly jumped ahead 6-2.
- Dakota Wesleyan gained a big lead of 17-10 with Brunsing kill.
- The Tigers allowed the Flames to tally another seven points as DWU grabbed another set in 25-17 and the match lead at 2-1.
- In the fourth set, the Tigers grabbed their first lead at 10-9, before the Flames stormed back to take the set win.
- As a team, Dakota Wesleyan tallied 50 kills and hit .090 percent.
- Ady Dwight and Mariah Gloe led the Tigers notching ten kills each and hitting .111 and .129 percent, respectively.
- Madeline Else tallied 43 assists, 15 digs, and a single block in the match.
- Gloe and Dwight each grabbed six blocks as Gloe, was credited for the two solo blocks
- Hanna Reiff had a team-leading 17 digs and Tya Weideman followed with 16 digs of her own.

Dakota Wesleyan volleyball return home for a full week of matches. The Tigers will serve things up at 7:30 p.m. against No. 18 Dordt on Tuesday. Then Coach Wilber and Company; will welcome in nonconference foe Mayville State for a 5 p.m. match on Wednesday. Closing out the week, DWU will get back into conference play against Hastings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday for Parents weekend. Saturday's match against Doane will be the Tigers' annual Dig Pink match in a 3 p.m. match from the Christen Family Athletic Center.
