MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team's doubleheader against Midland University has been pushed back another day, head coach Steve Gust announced Sunday night.
The doubleheader will be played at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at Drake Field in Mitchell. The game was originally scheduled to be played Sunday afternoon, was pushed back to Monday afternoon due to stormy weather Sunday and then pushed back yet again due to field conditions after a wet day Sunday.
The postponement makes a busy week even more hectic for Tiger baseball. After hosting the Warriors Tuesday, DWU takes on North Dakota State University Wednesday in Fargo, N.D. before returning to Mitchell to host Dakota State University on Thursday, Doane College Saturday and Hastings College Sunday.
