MITCHELL, S.D. – Due to rain and poor field conditions, the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team canceled its nonconference doubleheader with Dakota State University Thursday afternoon.
The Tigers will not make up the game, which was the second nonconference game of the week canceled by Dakota Wesleyan. DWU was also scheduled to play North Dakota State University in one nine-inning game Wednesday, but that game was canceled due to rescheduled Great Plains Athletic Conference games.
The Tigers, who are 17-27 overall and 6-6 in the GPAC, are back in action Saturday, April 21, when they host league-leading Doane College at 1 p.m. DWU also hosts Hastings College at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 22.
