McKenzie Stone signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Tigers next season, Christensen announced Thursday, bringing the class to six signees.
"McKenzie is having a tremendous senior season and has really elevated her game," Christensen said. "It is encouraging to see her shooting the way she is and we are extremely blessed that she has chosen to continue her athletic and academic career at Dakota Wesleyan."
The 5-foot-7 Hartford, S.D., native averaged 15.3 points per game as a junior, while hitting 45 percent of her field goals and 31 percent of her 3-pointers. She added 209 rebounds and 69 steals for the West Central Trojans, helping her team to an 18-4 record and a conference title.
As a junior, Stone was named the West Central Team MVP and to the All-State Third Team, while picking up First Team All-Conference honors.
