Crete, Neb. – Dakota Wesleyan men's basketball fell to Doane Saturday afternoon after a close game. Nine different players score for the Tigers in a game that had six ties and seven lead changes.

How It Happened
- Mason Larson and Jeffrey Schuch put DWU ahead 9-0 early after a pair of free throws, jump shots and a lone three-pointer.
- Ace Zorr brough the lead back to the Tigers after a layup and then converting on the and-one with 11:20 remaining in the first half.
- As Dakota Wesleyan had a 14-11 lead, both teams went cold for nearly three-minutes, until Doane broke the drought climbing back within one point.
- Entering the final four-minutes of the opening half, Doane went on a 6-0 run to tie the game at 19-19, then after an exchange of lay ups the game was tied again at 21-21.
- With seconds remaining before halftime, Doane collected on a shot from deep with the one-point advantage 24-23 heading into the break.
- Both teams started the second half going shots-for-shot, but DWU held them close enough to tie the game after a 7-6 run.
- After Doane jumped out to a 38-33 lead with 11:21 remaining it forced a timeout from coach Wilber.
- Down the stretch, the Tigers regained the lead with a 47-46 advantage heading into the final four-minutes of regulation.
